Albert Ellis, Ph.D., President, Albert Ellis Institute, 45 East 65th Street, New York, New York 10021, gave birth to Clincially Relevant Cognitive Psychology in the days of a half-smart, psychoanalytic hegemony. Ellisonian cognitive psychology subsequently became the Dominant Clincial Theory and Practice. The IAPM Served Physicians and Doctoral Level Scientists Sharing a Common Interest in the New Field of Preventive Medicine at a time when Physicians were Harshly Criticized, Even Persecuted by Peers and Government Entities For Their Practices and New Approaches to Medicine That are Commonly Accepted and Known These Days as Alternative Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Complimentary Medicine, Integrataive Medicine, and So Forth, Approaches! The Historic IAPM Pioneered New Thinking in Health Care Subsequently Inspiring Legislative Changes Protecting Their Rights and The Patient's Freedom of Choice in Health Matters.
