After Graduating UT Austin Dr. Pomeroy Became Very Active in Founding a New Medical Society Devoted to New Thinking in Medicine and Went on To Serve as its First Ph.D. President (1974-1975), Long Term Board Member, and Founding Editor-in-Chief of IAPM Publications Until the late 1980s When His Involvement With a New Science of Values and Morals Delivered the Conceptual and Practical Framework He Had Been Searching For in His Quest to Understand How it is That Medicine is The Fastest Growing Failing Business in the World. His Search Points to the Need to Unpack the Moral Dimensions of Medicine, Psychology, and Health Care in General Using the Tools of Science.

He Then Moved to Lunenburg Outside Boston Where He Wrote "The New Science of Axiological Psychology" Having Profound Implications for All Social Sciences and Humankind. Dr. Pomeroy Now Lives and Practices in Virginia where He is also an Adjunct Professor of Psychology, George Mason University at Fairfax.
